“Mary’s Amaryllis” Artist’s inspiration:  While living in southern California, my husband transformed the backyard into a tropical oasis. Planting over 50 different varieties of plants, flowers and trees, thankfully, one of them was an Amaryllis. Red is my favorite color so it wasn’t difficult for me to be inspired to paint this beautiful flower.
