First Frost. Artist’s Inspiration: Every year I will make a personal holiday cards out of paintings I create. I’ve always wanted to do one of cardinals. I especially love the vibrant red color of the males and even though the females didn’t get the beautiful plumes, they’re still lovely in their own way.
